Warranty

We grant 5 years warranty on all cuckoo clocks.

During this time, we will deal with any defects arising from faulty material or workmanship. All costs for material and labour are covered by us. Damages resulting from improper treatment, loss of the pendulum, weights or other small parts which are misplaced or accidentally thrown away with the packaging-all of these are not covered by this guarantee.

There can be no claim for alteration, reduced price or refund. No claims for compensation of an indirect or direct defect can be accepted. Any additional costs will not be refunded.  Transport damage during direct shipment is insured up to 500 €. 

 
In case of a warranty claim, please proceed as follows:

Germany:
In case of warranty damage or shipping damage (these damages must be documented by photo, including the packaging) please contact us by e-mail: info@schwarzwalduhr.de and explain the problem. We will first try to provide you with written assistance. If this is not possible, send the clock back to us with exact error information, without accessories (no weights, no pendulum or other parts that can be removed) or visit us in Schonach.

Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

Shipping costs will not be covered, also for return shipment.

Outside Germany:

In case of warranty damage or shipping damage (this damage must be documented by photo, including the packaging) please contact us first by phone +49 (0)7722-5274 or by e-mail: info@schwarzwalduhr.de and explain the problem. We will first try to help you by phone or in writing. If this is not possible, please send the clock to our service station with exact error information, without accessories (no weights, no pendulum or other parts that can be removed). If there is no service station in your country, please send the package back to us.  

Shipping costs will not be covered, not even for the return shipment.

Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.

The clocks must be must be checked immediately upon receipt.

Place of jurisdiction is VS-Villingen in the Black Forest.

Place of performance is Schonach in the Black Forest.
